I doubt anyone would pay near retail price for an iPod from an individual rather than a shop. i'd expect around 20% less than you pay, then factor in the 10% ebay final value fees and of course paypal deductions if you choose to not wait for a cheque.

Likely to get ~25% less overall.

So let's say you buy a £129 ipod - and you get £95 for it nett - then it's £34 loss for very roughly 4960 miles. Cheaper than buying miles from BA and at 0.68p per mile cheaper but not too far from the 0.75p per mile Raffles values BA Miles at (1.5p value if used with a 241)

(2000 bonus CC + 258 CC for the purchase = 2258 CC points = 4516 miles, plus go via BA eStore for roughly 250 miles (2:1) and another 193 miles if you use a BA Amex (1.5:1))

Of course the current £20 giftcard does swing it back in favour - depending on the t's and c's for that offer and if you shop in Tesco anyway so it has real value - of allows you to stock the wine cellar.
