Just spoke to a gate agent here at TPA. She says each green tag has a code which gets scanned before a gate checked bag goes on the plane. She is of the opinion that a reused tag will "mess the computer". Has anyone else tried re-using the same green tag?
I've used one for tons of flights. 95% of my flights start out as MKE>ORD, and have kept the same green tag on out of lazyness, my copy goes in my puch with the rfid card to pay for parking. Looks like im gonna have to find a laminator and make my own durable one.
