Back when I did MRs on DL I would fly itineraries like DEN-SLC-ATL-CVG-YYZ (okay.. so I slipped that beauty in on a work related flight). Maybe it is seeing the inside of too many airports, but I got tired of that kind of routing. Maybe if I was doing more international travel and didn't see the same crappy US airport concessions it wouldn't be so bad.
If only UA wasn't charging so much for flights to Springfield, MO around Christmas... then I wouldn't be doing a MR at all. C'est la vie.
I hear ya. I much prefer just some longer flights, ie. Den-BKK or Den-SIN to pull in the miles but I see the wacky routing also provides some great ways to pull in miles.
I've been researching for days and not finding any really good long Hauls for this weekend (Nov 12-14) on Star Alliance (UA metal prefered). Anyone seeing anything better than 6 cpms. Are there any true "Last Minute" deals to be found.
