Oh Maldives is way up there on my list. I was in Sri Lanka and didn't make it to the Maldives but I want to do it with someone I love. It is not an adventure travel destination.
I visited Sri Lanka and the Maldives on the same trip. Frankly, I rather preferred Colombo. The Maldives were pretty much total relax time for me, since I don't dive or sail or whatever. I think I read six books. Colombo had some interesting food and culture - more to my liking.
