EU reg. 261/2004 applicable? [LX F itin downgraded to LH C]
Just a short question for the experts:

I was ticketed to fly DUS-ZRH(C)-NRT(F) on LX; LX rebooked me on DUS-FRA-NRT (LH) in C.

Am I correct to assume that EU reg. 261/2004 (Article 10: involuntary downgrade) is applicable in this situation as my trip originates in the EU (despite LX not being an EU member airline)?
