Ah Shareholder you are so right. I've walked it's floor many times. It was in that hanger I learned of Canadian's purchase of Wardair, attended the unveiling ceremony of the transitional AC livery, and heard other speeches and presentations delivered over time by all three airlines. Following 9/11 I drove past it day after day and watched the progress of it's dismantling and felt a tug on the old heartstrings every time.

Another silent but visable show of progress towards the new runway at yyz is the empty Novatel Hotel on Carlingview. It will probably be coming down soon too.

The runway you landed on is the newest and to the best of my knowledge can only be used for landings due to a noise restriction agreement with residents along it's flight path. I had the priveledge of operating the inaugural CAIL flight in the ceremony to open that runway. It was 20 minutes long. AC won the coin toss to takeoff first but we had Collenette on board. Which one of us do you feel was the luckier?
