Have you tried calling the Platinum Concierge to ask if they have any twin queens available? Even if they can't access them, they can put a call in to the hotel to try to get the rooms released. The LM often has these rooms hidden from the main inventory, but available via a corporate rate search.
As for the sofa beds - ok if you are 6' tall, but a couple of inches above that won't be too fun!
They called through but no joy. A real shame - I really like that hotel, and the pool and club room would be significant draws.
Will keep monitoring that and the Hyatt Churchill to see if availability changes.
