Likely we are having a NYE party in the Quarter if you decide on New Orleans.

NYE is pretty good in New Orleans. It doesn't have the crowds of Mardi Gras or the organized gay events of Halloween, but is busy enough to be fun without being too hectic. It is also just one night, so you can return home without needing to check into rehab first.
