AAlton, I'm amazed too. I mean, I know we both understand supply/demand, but it is strange for me to think that I pay $250-350 (each r/t) for approximately 5 DFW/CLT roundtrips per year and have to fly 15k on top of that plus plunk down hundreds more to get measly Gold (granted, they are flights I need to go on and not MRs). All the while JFK/LAXers (and other transcon routes) are spending hundreds less for many more miles and greater status. Who really is the more valuable customer? (Rhetorical question - I know this is life and NO I am not bitter

)
