Essentially a clean bed in a room that offers decent views in a location that is centrally located (within walking distance) to most, if not all, of Banff's offerings and hiking trails.

I don't need room service or to feel like royalty, but if I'm paying several hundred dollars a night for a room, I at least want to feel like I'm getting a good value.
