UGH.

Ok, one more. I need to differ with Andrz... .

I even called AA. If you fly Swiss metal out of Zurich/Geneva on an AA codeshare flight you get lounge access. They told me that in Geneva(when I was flying BA) and was shocked. AA and LX are partners and so sometimes you have special deals between airlines, BA has many, has nothing to do with Oneworld.

If you are flying AA metal, you have access to the BA lounge, refurbished, I liked the older one better. They have the little Swiss chocolates so that made it worth my while, plus an excellent bar. Go there when you land, you should be fine. It is near the Oasis lounge.

I didn't realize that the Oasis lounge is the Swissport lounge.

Try something fun, if you will. Since you are flying J, go to the Oasis First class lounge which is across the way and see if they will let you in. I got to go for 5 minutes when stopping over on SAA (First) from Jo'burg to Paris. Nothing special, just had to get in there. I always fly coach out of Zurich and save the front cabin for Asia, Australia, South Africa.

I think Allegra is for all Business and First pax, def. Swiss. It is certainly an arrivals lounge as it in the Baggage claim area, so you must enter Switzerland to get to it, then exit via customs afterward.

I hope this works.

Also for the fun of it. At Rome, go to the BA lounge, Terminal C, upstairs near the main generic lounge, can't think of the name. If you are flying AA metal later in the day most likely they will let you in.
It may be a courtesy, but courtesy is what keeps me at an airline, alliance.

Have fun. I would like to be done as to this post, thanks.
