Although it seemed to take a week longer (I had paid with my former Scwab Visa card, not AMEX), I finally got my 5000 Delta miles. Was easy to cancel by phone--no pressure. I gave Single Identity a try and found I did not need its services. Thanks again SI/AMEX and OP.
