I've stayed at both on several occasions. I agree with other posters that Paris is the more upscale joint, but I actually prefer the MC. It takes much less time to get from my room to the casino and Strip. The resort fee does get me unlimited Internet access in the comfort of my room. The poker room is small but very friendly, and there is a large poker room (and also friendly) at the MGM Grand which is basically across the Strip from the MC. From the MC you can walk to Aria without even going outside.

The best for me is an excellent Indian restaurant named Tamba, located across the Strip from MC in the shopping plaza known as Hawaiian Marketplace, just south of Harmon. Walk past the carts into the glass doors and go up the escalator to the mezzanine level. Superb Indian food. If you should have the Filipino waiter named Alex, tell him that his frequent New Jersey customer says hello!
