My view: I have no problem with the low lighting or controls or towels. My only complaint in a few stays here is consistently bad service at breakfast - but I can't be too upset considering that it's free, and I figure (hope) the new staff will improve over time.

Otherwise Andaz is my favorite of the brands and I go out of my way to stay there. I've had all great stays in LA, Wall St, and 5th Ave.
