We are spending some time in LA before and after our trip and we have a stopover in Tahiti as our flight arrives in the early evening and we are taking the 7:15am flight to Bora Bora the next day. We are huge Four Seasons fans... We did a trip through Asia where we only stayed at Four Seasons (Koh Samui, Hong Kong, and Macau) and we most recently stayed at the Four Seasons in Prague. We really love FS properties in Asia and Europe... the only location we stayed at that we didn't enjoy was the Four Seasons Palm Beach... So when we decided on Bora Bora, both Trip Advisor and Flyertalk seem to prefer the Four Seasons... so that is why we chose it! Plus it looks amazing!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Bora Bora at the StRegis in 2008. One word describes it all: stunning. As for the time of year, we also went in January. The weather couldn't have been better and the best part- no crowds to deal with!! Hands down- one of our better trips. It cost us some $$ but heck it was worth every penny. (The FS was not open at the time we booked this trip.)
