Why would you not ask the flight attendant for a drink if you were this mad about it? It was a redeye flight so they could have assumed that people just wanted to sleep (and her polling people shows this) for the 2 hr 30 min eastbound flight. I do agree it is pretty poor service and sucks to not get a drink but if you are irked about it, ask the FA....that seems to never fail. I know I know I know I know that you shouldn't have to ask but if you really want that drink, get up and say something, don't just come to FT and post this if you did nothing to help or improve the situation. Just my 2 cents
