If so, she is an idiot (she sounds like one anyway) and I would make *THIS* the basis of my complaint to DL.
A broader comment on your post - This is unusually bad service that is highly atypical.

Absolutely. I posted a WSJ article further up thread that found 15% of AC's tested to have high levels of bacteria. Even the Airlines, afraid of Pax getting sick, began advising against drinking the tap water and in many cases put placards up advising it. Just ask an FA if they drink that water and you will have your answer. There is a reason they load all that bottled water and do not just serve from the tap.
