So i guess i should add that i would be flying either ZQN - AKL - XXX - LHR -DUB. Basically end up on the same flights to AKL and DUB its just the route in the middle thats different. Price at the moment for the dates i'm looking at seem to vary by the taxes only.

Am looking to fly straight through since i've been to LA several times and HK doesn't appeal. I'm sure it would if i googled things to do in HK but i haven't. Generally i find its easier on the body to get to the destination faster rather than stretch out the trip.

I've transited lot's at LAX to AC. Generally find my self going for a walk outside then up to the lounge for a shower and watch all the planes. Now i'm aware that with NZ 1/2 you get held in a pen so the above wouldn't work. I assume the transit facilities are pretty basic.

Are there showers that you can use during the stop over in HK?
