You are very correct zski1 that in the time of the acquisition (2001) 2007 hasn't occurred yet, so when the AA/TWA acquisition occurred, the CAB TWA884 is referring to, which currently stands for future merger/acquisitions, didn't matter.

FAs who are being recalled are all AA FAs. (and yes, they were FAs of the Bankrupt TWA that AA acquired in 2001)
