Yes you get a letter and lifetime Gold. You get 8 e-upgrades for reaching 1,000,000 as well. At 2,000,000 you get four VIPOWs plus lifetime Plat.
I have no direct personal knowledge of 3,000,000 since I'm still a few years away from that.
