A few years ago I sent one of my guys to Glasgow on a training course, when he was checking in for his return, the agent couldn't find the booking.
All was revealed when he handed over his printed itinerary, I had got the dates wrong and he was 24 hours late for his flight
The agent laughed, commiserated with him on how stupid his boss was and put him on the next flight with no extra charge - excellent service from BA!
