I have to go on this flight, I am moving to XRY for 15mths training so I can sit the other side of the cockpit door

I thought I was going from Terminal 5 until the other day when I checked MMB...

I called up BACS to find out if I can OLCI for the whole trip (including the connection to XRY) or if I have to checkin on Iberia for the MAD-XRY leg. They waffled and said "i assume so". I cant see that I would be doing, otherwise my luggage wouldn't go all the way through...
