I'm planning on traveling to Bangkok for a one-day business meeting in the middle of a holiday in Singapore (traveling on a Canadian passport). Can anyone offer me any advice as to whether or not it should be ok to just do this on a tourist visa exemption in Thailand?

Technically I'll also be doing a bit of tourism in Bangkok as well in the 24 hours that I'll be there, of course, but I really don't know what to expect at immigration in Bangkok. Thanks for any info.
