FYI - On Air Canada flights in Business Class, one may take up to 3 bags of 32kg each. Being *G and travelling in Business Class does NOT allow one to take on an extra bag.

But travelling in economy, AC only allows regular passengers to take 1 bag of up to 23kg. Being *G, one may take an addition piece - but also up to 23kg only.

I wonder how NZ will implement these rules on tickets originating from Brazil. Ok so NZ does not fly to Brazil but on any tickets that originates in Brazil, the entire ticket has the same luggage rule. ie 2 pieces of up to 32kg each. That is the governmental law in Brazil to implement this.

So if you a RTW ticket that originates in Brazil, that law applies.
