1. It's a long walk. To the lifts, down to floor -1, mix with the HEX/tube passengers, follow signs to T3 deps, take lift up to street level, walk along to zone D. Conclusion: I wouldn't want to do this with a broken foot.
2. Upstairs (there's probably a lift somewhere, but beware the hoards of Indian extended familiies coming to see off Grannie), through Fast Track security (easy), through the (crowded) duty free free to the Lounge. Conclusion: very very crowded, someone's gonna tread on your foot.
3. Yes gate 24 bus station. It's 5 minutes walk from the lounge, this is the easy bit. Watch out for the bumper cars carrying Grandmas from Delhi.
