I do believe she is flawed when she believes that pax will come to the main terminal before catching a connection to MCI from SFO. There is no way that I would come from Concourse B to grab a bite of food. For the amount of money they charge, I will just eat in the RCC, or visit Wolfgang Pucks on the Concourse B mezzanine.
As a pax .. the only way I ever come to an airport early is to park my butt in whatever lounge I'm affiliated with. And if that airport doesn't have a lounge for my program, I don't arrive any earlier than I have to (and I never check a bag, so if I'm there more than 45 min before my flight I've mis-timed my cab ride).
