Got you to Gold without having to use a pen.

Cheers,

2 Birds with 1 Stone - I use to do this with my Amex Plat to bump up my spend with them. Use to book last week of the month and then cancel after bill was issued! So i got my BA Gold card as well as an Amex Centurion (~$30k a month for 12 months).

Still got the Gold card but not then Centurion - novelty wears off pretty quick and the service / offerings wasn't worth the yearly fee.

Those were the days
