TripAdvisor rankings are just monstrously useless. If you want to read comments on individual hotels, sure; but for comparative purposes? Not so much.
Currently rated #11 for Hong Kong is the Landmark Mandarin Oriental; and #12 is the Novotel Citygate. Now; I'll grant you that I agree the LMO is better than the Novotel Citygate but I suspect there's a few hotels that ought to come between them.
The Novotel (which is in Tung Chung and therefore convenient for nothing other than the airport -- I mean, is there ANYTHING commercial out there?) is ranked as a better business hotel than the LMO which is located slap-bang in the middle of Central.
