El Al flights each have two armed guards on them. When they arrive in YYZ they leave their guns on the plane. I assume that they have some sort of safe on board.
All EL Al flights to Toronto return to TLV; some through New York.
I assume that the arms are shared by the many guards. When a flight arrives in YYZ the guards stay over, and their replacements probably use the same guns that the first ones left on board.
I'm pretty sure they sit in first class.
