My mom was due to loose all her AGR points on 11/8 due to inactivity, so she redeemed a one-way biz class award ticket for me for this weekend (11/5). Turns out I don't need the ticket after all though would like to use it after the holidays for a winter getaway. Is it okay to just pick up the ticket tomorrow as planned and then call right away to cancel the res even though I have no firm rebooking date in mind? No-showing is not an option for me, and I'd like to not loose the points either if possible.
