So what will AA (and the others) do to replace the 757?
The AA B762 has 168 seats and B763 has 225 seats. The current B767 ER offerings are for -200ER (180 seats), -300ER (210 seats) and -400ER (245 seats). The marketed range is around 6,300 nm. Sounds to me like there's already a good replacement on the market. Now if you're looking for something that can jump off a runway like a B757, well that's another story.
