I've not flown in PE with Air France (I'm sure someone who has will be along soon) but I am a big fan of Virgin's PE product and I think you will be too. If it's cheaper then it should be a no brainer!

In my opinion Virgin's product is like travelling business but without a flat bed and lounge access. You get everything else... dedicated check in, priority boarding and luggage, metal cutlery, a menu and a pretty comfortable seat (as wide as most airlines business class) that reclines enough to sleep quite well. It beat's BA's WTP easily.

At some of the sale fares it really is a bargain!
