Did anyone else receive this email today? I'm unsure if it's targeted or not.
Basics are:
This fall and winter, the Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Canada invite you to take advantage and register today for two amazing Hilton HHonors™ offers.
Register and stay between now and January 15, 2011, and earn up to 1,500 Bonus Aeroplan Miles with three stays at any participating hotel within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of brands.*
The T&C states
*Stays at Full Service (Waldorf Astoria™ Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts™, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree™, Embassy Suites™, Hilton Garden Inn™, and Hilton Grand Vacations™):
1st stay = 300 Bonus Miles
2nd stay = 500 miles
3rd stay = 700 miles
Total miles earned for three full service qualifying stays is 1,500 (bonus) + 1,500 (base) = 3,000 miles
Aside - this seems to indicate that you need to be signed up for Points + Miles double dipping. I just changed mine to P+P for the 4x bonus. Thoughts?
Stays at Focus Service (Hampton Inn™, Hampton Inn & Suites™, and Homewood Suites by Hilton™):
1st stay = 60 Bonus Miles
2nd stay = 100 miles
3rd stay = 140 miles
Total miles earned for three focus service qualifying stays is 300 (bonus) + 300 (base) = 600 miles
Members staying at a combination of Full and Focus Service hotels will not reach the full 1,500 Bonus Miles as only the first three stays during the promotional period are eligible for Bonus Miles and each stay will be awarded as indicated above. Please allow 6-8 weeks for miles to be credited to Aeroplan account.
Registration required prior to making reservation. All stays must be completed between October 15, 2010, and
January 15, 2011. Subject to availability. May be combined with other select offers and discounts.
I of course have my reservations already made through the middle of January, but I am not above cancelling and rebooking for a free 1500 miles!
Would modifying the reservation work? Or would I have to rebook/cancel fully? Or perhaps just call the helpdesk... never really worried about it before, but hey, five minutes work online would be worth it.
