BTW Day of the Dead isn't celebrated at all in Spain. It's purely a Mexican holiday.
Have the drugs worn off yet? It was Monday that I posted that, not Sunday. And Nov 1st, is a public holiday here, every year. You can call it the Day of the Dead, or All Saints Day, or All Souls Day, or whatever you want. The point is that it is a public holiday and most everything is closed. However I do not expect a luxury resort that serves mainly foreigners to close down their food and drink outlets for a public holiday. Especially not the pool-side bar!
