To get the 2x and 3x bonuses, one must not fly L or N fare class. Can one find the cost of the next higher class on line and purchase it? I think unsually V class would be the lowest fare that is not L or N (paid fares).

Would prefer to do on WEB site, but otherwise I guess I will need to call AA to have them search and give me price and buy ticket (unless I decide the extra cost is too much).
