Dear All

I am flying to Hong Kong from Birmingham (UK) with emirates. My return flight is from Kuala Lumpur to Birmingham via Dubai. At the time of booking I had the choice of taking a stopover in Dubai free of charge, but at the time I had no reason to stop in Dubai. But now I want to stop for a few nights in Dubai, I have called my agent who has advised that it will cost £150pp for the change but if you do it once you have flown out it will cost £75pp. I have also rang emirates for info but they have advised to ring my agent to change now or call once flown out and they will be able to change for £75pp. I don’t want to change it once I have flown out as I would need to make arrangements regarding hotels etc.
My questions is can I make this change using my Skywards point before I travel? I have around 11000 skyward miles will this be sufficient?
