I prefer JAL because their service is very gentle and polite, unlike CX or others where it is always procedural and/or rush. I have not experienced courtesy from any other airlines that are any where close to JAL especially in F. Their foods look and taste of higher quality than other airlines. I guess the presentation has a lot to do with it. All else equal I would fly JAL before thinking about any one else.

And even during the painful restructuring, the level of service is still maintained and the CAs and other staff remains extremely professional too ^^^
One more thing I forgot to add in my OP was I like when JAL (and NH too...) has a strike, it only affects their domestic operations and a lot of times they only strike for a couple of days and then everything is back to normal and sometimes they even cancel it.
