I think they got it because the airport is partially owned by Germans and the company that invented that system is German...
That system works only in CPH and few other places where they have billions to waste on it buying many lanes... but the old manual way is still the BEST one and go faster!
Couldn't agree more. That system is a typical example of over-automation. You still need the people to operate the machines so I really don't see the benefit. Why don't they just manually get the trays? It's creating such a long waiting line, unbelievable.
