The 'spa' i.e. small massage room, has got a lot better recently. Last time but one I routed via CDG (June), it was just a chair massage, i.e. face forward, kneeling forwards, shirt on, but last time I was in S2E (Sep) it was a full lie-down, shirt off thingy. I can't think they'd have the room to install a similar thing upstairs in 2D. The treatments in S2E have considerably expanded too, and as previous posters have commented, there are far worse ways to spend your time.
