Have any of you guys seen these MD-80s with the 2XXX flight numbers lately??? They are really bad, and its obvious that this guy got screwed because the GAs obviously know which seats are best for their friends.
The last row basically has limited leg room and only has a little curtain behind it..not like it has a regular bulkhead behind it. Not much better than a coach seat, and I understand why he would have opted to switch to coach.
The bulkhead row in F for some reason has about 5 feet of leg room...and I'm not really overestimating that. I don't know who designed this, but its a joke. I was lauging a few weeks ago when I was on one of these old TWA planes that they just converted. I hate saying this, but it wasn't by chance that the FAs scored those seats.
These TWA planes aren't even close to the regular AA MD-80s. The seats were just recovered with some blue fabric, and no headrests...whoever thought this was a good cover up should be shot...
I usually don't back someone who complains about this kind of stuff... However, in this case I understand what this guy actually went through with that crappy seat when the equipt. was changed on him.
Not that the 757 seats are anything to write home about, but this MD-80 conversion was pretty PI*S POOR.
