You can generally find used G1's and first gen myTouch's on E-Bay and elsewhere for under a $100. They really aren't bad phones and if you are even a little tech savvy it's not that hard to load Froyo on those so you are more or less still up to date in the Android world. Like anything on E-Bay just buy from someone with lots of good feedback on similar sales.
