New survey ranks YWG as one of Canada’s worst airport's

Consider this more motivation to open up that brand new air terminal building as soon as possible.

Winnipeg’s James Richardson International Airport has been ranked one of Canada’s worst, according to data released Monday by FlightNetwork.com.

The Toronto-based travel website asked Canadians to share their opinions on the travel industry. The “State of Air Travel Poll” found Toronto’s Pearson International Airport to rank first when it comes to the worst at 27.6%, followed by Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport at 16%. Winnipeg came in third at 13.9%.

The company polled 783 Canadians to get to these results, which also included Edmonton, Halifax, Vancouver and Victoria (in that particular order). Eleven percent identified ‘other’ airports as being the worst in the country.
