Advanced warning for my fellow airsick FFers: best stock up on your medication of choice before you hit the airport.

Transiting through yow this morning, feeling a little icky so I knew my usual ginger tablet wouldn't cut it. Went hunting for some good old fashioned gravol, no luck. Only the herbal kind to be found.

Ok fine, I can suck it up for the one hour flight to toronto and buy some at Yyz... Except not. Checked three shops on my way out of the gate area, only Ginger gravel. Got to the shop outside security and asked for gravol, she said oh yes here you go.... More Ginger gravol.

No, I said, I need real gravol.

We aren't allowed to sell that here.

I couldn't believe my ears. The airport concessions aren't allowed to sell travel sickness medication?! That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a long time.

Here's hoping my flight has it stocked, or I feel for the poor guy in 4C.
