Hasn't anyone ever heard of or paid a "corking fee" at a byob restaurant? That is a nominal charge that you pay the restaurant for uncorking your wine and providing extra glasses for your alcoholic beverage that you bring in. It's really no different. This happens in establishments that have no liquor license and allow you to bring in your own drinks for consumption with your meal. I'm not saying that $7 dollars is a fair charge for plates and silverware but it should be expected from the large profit monger hotels whose room service charges are stupidly out of control expensive to begin with
