Can't check in online, no return trip booked
UA doesn't allow us to check-in online, reason given is that the country of destination requires proof of a return ticket. This is for trips from SFO to DUB via LHR. Since we have moved to Dublin from the States we don't need a return ticket. Is this a government or EU requirement or just a UA policy? Or is it simply a matter of changing our address to Ireland in united.com, which I just did? My wife just lost her seat assignment in the front row of C after she couldn't check-in online.
