What do you believe the spirit of the rules actually is? Are you opposed to the fact that there is no change fee now to buy up to a higher fare class? Are you opposed to the fact that "instant" upgrades are available from Y/B/M fares?
Would you be satisfied if the rules were kept as they were, but CO didn't publicise the fact that pax could buy up to the higher fares? Is it a visibility issue you have here?
You have a real chip on your shoulder about this particular point, as can clearly be seen in dozens of threads, however I really don't understand the issue. What would you propose as a solution within the "spirit" of the rules?
