I am staying at the St. Regis Singapore next week and received the follow email from the hotel today;

"As our esteemed guest, we graciously invite you to a first-hand encounter of the legendary service. That is St. Regis.

In recognition of your patronage as a Platinum Starwood Guest, unwind and indulge in a glass from our beverage selection and delectable canapés during your stay with our compliments at Astor Bar or LaBrezza Bar Lounge from 6-8pm daily.

We invite you to enjoy your lunch or dinner at our classic dining restaurant Brasserie Les Saveurs on a complimentary basis, when accompanied by another paying guest. This privilege does not apply to Sunday Brunch."

Is this standard treatment for Platinum members, since the hotel does not have a lounge?
