If it is KUL, it will be interesting to see how it fits in with the current network compared to before. BA would have zero feed at the KUL end unless they were planning to make it a fourth transfer point on routes to Australia, after BKK, HKG and SIN, in which case it would have to link up with QF.

It used to be a 744 from LHR, but if they resumed it with a 772 from LGW, then that would bring LGW into play as a new UK origin from which to get to Australia, as I don't believe there is any way to get there at the moment from LGW. BA could even route it LGW-KUL-DPS (Bali). I'm sure there would be some high end pax willing to pay for a direct UK-Bali service.
