There is a book out by an AA flight attendant. I can get the title and author later. ex-fa.

Tells you lot's of the crAAp that goes on at AA and other airlines. A friend of mine works for NW as a flight attendant and he hates NW so much.

One has put in many years, pension, and what else are you going to do? ( be a waiter, oops, I never said that ).

The book def. gives you compassion for the crew. I could never do what they do and I admit that. They are also way underpaid for the work they do. I feel that way for most airline employees,(not MBA stuffed shirts in the corporate overpaid towers) save the pilots.

I will say that the airlines need to treat the crews better and the crews need to treat us pee ons(the pax) better.

If you knew how some flight attendants feel about passengers and the things they say after a flight, you would be shocked.
Sometimes some very serious racial and other offensive comments are made. I turn the other way and cringe.

Don't cross a crew member. They can make your life miserable while in that freakin' metal tube.
