My thought exactly. Just returned on an AF flight; after the meal walked to the galley bar and asked for an espresso. They have a little espresso pod machine in the galley - threw in an Illy pod, and I had a nice cup of espresso (served with a nice piece of Valrhona chocolate).

Delta's coffee is abysmal in air; machines in lounge are "eh" -a caffeine delivery device though I don't think there is that much, plus I've now stopped getting it on board as its so heinous. Via is actuallly better than what Delta serves (at least it smells like coffee). I agree with the Nespresso alternative; in the AZ lounge they had a Lavazza pod machine - maybe not the best for the environment, but you'll never have stale old coffee.

A nice solution would be to allow us to bring in coffee to the Skyclub - as most airports have a local purveyor.
